Like father, like son

We are a strange family because we actually go to Ikea to do grocery shopping. People give me funny looks when I unload my large shopping cart in front of the panicked cashier. Yes, I actually do use the 5 containers of rugbrød mix that I have just placed in front of you ;) Anyway, another highlight of the trip is the Swedish candy (lösgodis)... both for Andreas... and for Oliver. Like father, like son ;)

PS: of course, the 2 older boys got candies too... we have to be fair ;)

The analysis ;)

New York City, part 3 aka photo spam

This was our last day here.... tomorrow, we leave. Perfect timing because Hurricane Barry is hitting hard. Just as we got home with pizza in hand, the thunder and lightning started. Out with a bang 😉

Our last day in New York ended with a trip to the Trinity Church cemetery in Manhattan for a little history, the 9-11 Memorial, the Oculus, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and a bit of shopping. We will be heading out tomorrow with some really good memories in our suitcases. It was a great trip!

See you back in Montreal xox
PS... I warned you about the photo spam 😉

New York City, part 2

Today included the Staten Island outlets (specifically, The Nike Shop) so we could pick up new running shoes for the boys for school (yes, I had to ruin the experience by mentioning school 😉), Harlem, a good deli by Time Square and me doing everything in my power not to get off the bus to spend too much money at Marimekko 😉.
Tomorrow, we will visit the Trinity Church, the World Trade Centre Memorial and Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty. I also pencilled in a visit to the store &Other Stories (Scandinavian friends, you will know what I mean 😉).

See you again tomorrow xox

A yawn is a silent scream for coffee.... brilliant!
