Boys' morning out

This blog has become kind of quiet over the past two years because 1) the boys are not into having their pictures taken anymore and 2) they usually hide out in the basement with their headphones on ;) Not an interesting blog post ;)

Oliver, being eleven years old and not quite teenager yet, can still be lured out to do things (sometimes) and, today, he was into going fishing with Andreas. Lucky me, I got to stay home and clean. I wonder who got the better morning activity? ;)

Happy Sunday xox

Fishing with boys (the Swedish version)

We took the boys fishing today at a place where Andreas used to fish when he was young. Actually, Nicka and Andreas are the only "real" fishermen (ie: people who really like it). Oliver managed to catch fish without really sitting still for more than 2 minutes at a time (I have no idea how he does it). Alexander and I just sat on the beach and enjoyed the beautiful day.

PS: no fish were harmed in the making of this blog post. Oliver likes to put them back in the water more than he likes to catch them. PLUS: we fed the fish before we left ;)

Happy Sunday to you all (I am really mixed up with the time zones so I think it is Sunday) ;) Tomorrow, I leave for Copenhagen... just me... wow! xox

Fishing with boys

Nicka is an avid "fisherman". He just loves everything about fishing (yes, we make sure that the fish are in good condition and return them to the water). There is something about the act of fishing that just fascinates him. He loves it! While the other boys look at gamers on Youtube, Nicklas checks out fishing channels (ok... as well as checking out the gamers) ;)
This past weekend, while I was at soccer, Andreas took Nicka and Oliver to a local fishing hole. Nicka was in heaven.... Oliver said that there were too many rocks to trip over... ;)

In heaven.... Oliver was just tripping over rocks ;)
